"Churchill" Cobblestone Ten Downing Street AKC SR43743501
Cobblestone's Ten Downing Street, known as 'Churchill Rhett', was born on, Monday, June 18, 2007. His father is Birnam Wood's Kicks Bass, 'Beckham' and his mother is Cobblestone's Fleetwood Mac, 'Rumour'. He is a beautiful powerful Golden with honey coloring, broad well placed shoulders, black pigmentation, true coming and going and moves very well over the ground as a total well put together package. Churchill is very intelligent and confident. Churchill is a conformation dog and loves travel and new challenges, eager to learn, curious, animated, loving, and is a problem solver. Churchill has certainly read the puppy rule book. When he is spoken to he has focus and looks for his next activity to solve. Churchill is easy to train and is wiling to please. He is always carrying a toy, a tennis ball, or his brown bear around in his mouth. On his walks he might find a stick or a pine cone that he will proudly carry home with his head up high and tail wagging. Churchill is not only confident but also settles well and sits with the family and takes many time outs for hugs. Churchill loves to have fun! As a golden retriever puppy he has been playing with his brother nonstop and getting wet anywhere he can find water. If there was a water puddle he would find it. He plays with the same toys as his brother, and whatever Winston has at that moment, is what he Churchill wants. Churchill enjoys crawling through tunnels, and walking across his teeter toter as well as using all his agility equipment. He took to agility equipment immediately as a puppy. He is a wonderful retriever, running all the time and when it comes to ending the day he always wants to fetch one more time. Like his brother, Churchill gets many walks a day and exercises a lot all starting at 0430. He loves the cool, crisp, fresh morning air and the excitement of a new day, as he literally bounces his way to breakfast. In the midday the trainer comes and it's home school time followed by a second round of high jumps and weave poles. In the evening more running and playing with his brother. Although there are many dog training methods Churchill goes one night a week to formal dog school in Nashville. On the show circuit Churchill is owner handled and is a joy to work with.
