Cher-ade's Summer Breeze, known as 'Winston Wilkes', was born on, Saturday July 30, 2005, the first of seven golden retriever puppies. His father is BIS, BISS, CH Scion Oughta Be A Law, NA, NAJ, CGC, SDHF, and his mother is F Stop's Go Go Gadget. He is a beautiful powerful Golden with honey coloring, bright white teeth, black pigmentation, masculine head and moves with ease over the ground with long endurance for running.

Winston is very intelligent, confident and has the, "I'm in charge attitude." At times, it he doesn't want to do something he might pause to think about it first.  Winston is a conformation dog and loves travel and new challenges, eager to learn , curious, animated, and loving. Winston is the alpha dog over his brother.  When he is spoken to by his family he looks up and wants to know what to do next.  Winston has certainly learned the puppy rule book. He is always carrying a toy, a tennis ball, or his towel around in his mouth, especially in the evening in the house. Not at all food oriented like Churchill, Winston can let things sit and not pick them up.  Winston is fearless and as a puppy in the whelping box slept through hurricane Katrina as it came on land in Mississippi.

Winston loves to have fun! As a golden retriever puppy, he was known as getting into things and playing nonstop. Even now, Winston never tires and continues all day. He plays with the same toys as his brother, and whatever Churchill has at that moment, is what he Winston wants. If Churchill has a towel in his crate Winston will somehow get it out so he can carry it around. Winston loves to run the fence with the neighbor dogs and play.  He is a wonderful retriever, running all the time and when it comes to ending the day he always wants to fetch one more time.

Like his brother, Winston gets many walks a day and exercises a lot all starting at 0430. He loves the  morning air and the excitement of a new day, as he makes his way through the yard and down to get the morning newspaper on days that Churchill doesn't. In the midday the trainer comes and it's home school time followed by a second round of high jumps and weave poles. In the evening more running and playing with his brother. Winston receives dog training  and in his case attends  formal dog school one night a week.

On the show circuit Winston is owner handled.

Summer Breeze

See the curtains hangin' in the window, in the evenin' on a Friday night.
A little light a-shinin' through the window, lets me know everything is alright.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.

See the paper layin' in the sidewalk, a little music from the house next door.
So I walked on up to the doorstep, through the screen and across the floor.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.

Sweet days of summer, the jasmine's in bloom. July is dressed up and playing her tune.
And I come home from a hard day's work, and you're waiting there, not a care in the world.
See the smile a-waitin' in the kitchen, food cookin' and the plates for two.
See the arms that reach out to hold me, in the evening when the day is through.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine, blowing through the jasmine in my mind.
